Claims Service Out of Hours

Major losses are handled by our partner loss adjuster Sedgwick who should be contacted outside normal business hours (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) on the following number to report new major losses.  Please state clearly that you are calling in connection with a Church of Scotland Insurance Scheme claim, since this should ensure that you speak to the right person.

For any major loss that cannot wait until normal business hours, please call 0800 015 1498.  You may be asked to quote the scheme policy number. This is 100719844BDN.

This service operates 24 hours, 365 days a year.  Please have your church scheme reference available (it is in the style of “M0001”).  You will find it in the top right hand corner of your policy schedule.

Call for advice on safety, fire, security and other issues that can affect your business. Most enquiries can be dealt with over the telephone, but if we can’t give you an immediate answer, we will deal with your enquiry within one working day. This service is available during office hours with an answering service outside these times.
